I had to buy a album of hers on Ebay from Spanish. The titles of the songs are in Spanish but she sings in Italian. Unfortunately there are no original 60's recordings of her on the market just rerecordings which is why I bought this. Le colline sono in fiore, the song she performed at the San Remo festival is easily the best song here but she has a nice voice. Her cover of Easier said than done is cute too. I love Italian music of the 60's and will probably recommend more.

This is a rare album from the 70's. It's of a boy and a girl singing. The best songs are Ladybug and Pitiful World. It's folky and has simple arrangements. It has an innocence about it and it is beautifully sung. I needed some money so I sold my copy, keeping the music on the computer. I wished I hadn't done that. I should have kept this treasure.

This is an impressive "beginning" album. Her first actually was Wednesday's Child but it was folky and she didn't have a style yet like this one does. Other than the answer song to King of the Road, Queen of the House this is an album of its time. That means some covers. "The Race is On" is a good George Jones cover and "I walk the Line" is cheesy. "He walks like a man" is fun. Italian diva Mina would later cover it. The only song that doesn't quite fit here on Queen of the House is "If I" which seems more like a song that would be featured on a Teresa Brewer album. Now that her 70's period has been put on cd I would like her pop 60's stuff to get on cd.
