Jim Croce

Jim Croce - Photographs & Memories: His Greatest Hits I was watching X-Men: Days of Future Past when I heard Time in a Bottle in the background. I've always thought this song was pretty but I was curious who sang it? I bought a Jim Croce best of immediately. No he's not obscure like most of the people from my blog. When I was 18-25 I used to go to thrift stores every Saturday and buy records. (This stopped once I moved into my apartment. There's simply no room for more records.) I found a lot of Jim Croce records but ignored them not knowing what he sang. I've found having a lot of records in a thrift store doesn't mean people wanted to give you away. It means you were popular in the time It also means people threw away their records and went digital. Anyway I enjoyed the album a lot. There were so many songs I knew like Operator, Big Bad Leroy Brown, I've got a Name, and I have to say I love you in a song. He died at 30. I'm 31 so I think that's young. He He accomplished a lot in a short period of time. He had an unique sound.
