I don't know much about Edie Adams other than she was Ernie Kovacs' wife. I'm not familiar with his tv show either as it was before my time. Still I've been curious about her and was happy to buy this off Ebay. The album is full of standards, the usual ones like Bill Bailey and Frankie and Johnny, then the not so typical ones. Don't let the sun catch you cryin' is not the pop song on the oldies station. It's sad because I imagine she would have sang that well. The best song here is her rendition of Good for Nothin' Joe. She sings it sincere.
